In 2009 I performed on Rhodes keyboard with McCoy Tyner at the Kennedy Center. I hung out with Geri Allen backstage while watching him play solo. They are both gone now, and I listen to one or both of them as often as possible. In a surreal world, here is my offering to the jazz gods.
